Abstract Submission Form

BALM 2012 Abstract Submission Guidelines

General Information

1. The abstract must be written in English.
2. Deadline: abstracts must be received no later than February 29, 2012. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
3. Abstracts should be submitted via the Congress website: www.balm2012.lt using the Abstract Submission form. Please press the submit button only once. An abstract is only uploaded successfully when you receive an automatic reply confirming your submission.
4. Presenting authors must pay the registration fee and attend the Congress. Authors of accepted abstracts are not provided with travel funds.
5. Notification of acceptance will be mailed by March 15, 2012.

Content of the Abstract

1. The body of the abstract is limited to 2500 characters (includes spaces).
2. The font of the Abstract should be Times New Roman size 12 pt with single line spacing for the whole text.
3. The title of the Abstract should be in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS and indicate the essence of your study. Please do not use abbrevitions in the title.
4. Body of abstract: purpose of the study, methods used, summary of the results and conclusion reached.
5. Please indicate the full names of the authors and underline the main author’s name.
6. Please indicate the e-mail address of the main author of the abstract and institutions of the authors.
7. Where possible please use the following subheadings in italics:
1. Objectives: a sentence describing the purpose of the study
2. Methods: description of methods used
3. Results: description of results in a logical sequence
4. Conclusion: important aspects of the study and relevant conclusions.
8. Abstracts will be published as submitted. Proof and edit your submission accordingly.

Guidelines for Posters
Poster size should not exceed 110 x 80 cm. Posters will be displayed on May 11 -12.
